Thank you for purchasing this folio of photographic images. We know you will enjoy using these images in The Print Shop Deluxe, The Print Shop Deluxe Companion, The Print Shop Deluxe CD Ensemble, or any other Macintosh application which accepts PICT files.
Importing PICT Images into The Print Shop Deluxe:
Importing these images into The Print Shop Deluxe brings them into the projects at a large size . This will give you the best on-screen resolution when you use the images as full page backdrops or backgrounds. Reducing the size of the images will, in many cases (if not all), make the images look sharper.
Importing PICT Images into The Print Shop Deluxe Companion:
Importing these images into The Print Shop Deluxe Companion projects brings them in at a small size. Just resize them by dragging one of the corners. The images may have a shifting of colors when you enlarge them, but the printouts will be fine.
Some users may notice a shift in the image colors on screen. This will occur if your monitor is not capable of thousands or millions of colors. However, this will only appear on screen. The printed output looks fine.
Memory Requirements
Please see page 4 of the folio booklet included in the CD case if you need to increase the amount of memory that is allocated to The Print Shop Deluxe or The Print Shop Deluxe Companion.
Note to System 7 and 7.01 users:
Page 4 of the Photo Folio booklet lists incorrect information. The booklet states that the "Suggested" size should be 4000K; however, the "Suggested" size cannot be modified. Instead you need to set the "Current" size at a minimum of 4500K.
